Industrial Adolescence names a period when technological power raced ahead of ecological maturity. Fossil fuels and automation enabled rapid growth while detaching human systems from natural limits. The result—visible in corporate landscapes and climate instability—was efficiency without meaning. The Anthropocene marks a turning point, demanding that humanity redesign settlements and economies to mature within ecological limits and restore accountability to the living world.
